Something not working, or a question about how the app behaves? Write to mornin.ouchi@gmail.com and I will get back to you.

It helps to include your device (for example iPhone 15) and your iOS version. If something looks wrong on screen, a screenshot is worth more than a description.

Can I learn more than three kanji a day?

Yes. Three a day is a goal, not a limit. Once you have met it, you can learn three more as often as you like. The one thing that waits is a kanji changing its reading: that lesson only appears once you learned the kanji on an earlier day, so the change always lands after a night's sleep. At three a day, the whole set of fifty takes about seventeen days.

When do reviews come back?

The day after you first meet a character, then at widening intervals as you keep getting it right. A character you miss comes back sooner. You do not schedule anything yourself — the entry screen tells you what is due.

A kanji I already know showed up with a different reading

That is the part the app is built around. 日 that you learned as hi returns inside 日曜日 as nichi, and the app stops to show you the change. The meaning stays; the sound moves.

Where is my progress stored?

On your device, and nowhere else. There is no account and no server of mine, which also means progress does not follow you to a second device, and deleting the app deletes it.

How do I cancel the subscription?

On your iPhone: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Kanji Encounter. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge. Chapter 1 stays free either way.

I paid but the chapters are still locked

Open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchases. If that does not help, write to me with the Apple Account you bought it with and I will look into it.
